I finished all four Song of Ice and Fire books. Then I read THORN QUEEN by Seattle's own Richelle Mead followed by STREET MAGIC by the equally as local Caitlin Kitteridge.

I'm finishing up the anthology CHILDREN OF CTHULHU which has a story by another Seattle writer, Willum "Hopfrog" Pugmire in it. Willum will be a reader and a panelist at this year's convention.

After CHILDREN OF CTHULHU I tried to read Dean Koontz's WATCHERS. I'm sure I'll like it more soon but....

I got HORNS by Joe Hill and BATTLE OF THE NETWORK ZOMBIES by Mark Henry so I dug into Mark's novel. It's some good stuff.

Today I picked up a volume collection of BUNNICULA stories (and learned that I need to hunt down a copy of BUNNICULA MEETS EDGAR ALLAN CROW) and Anne Bishop's newest novel SHALADOR'S LADY. I think I won't be going back to Koontzie for a bit.

Finished BUNNICULA: A RABBIT-TALE OF MYSTERY, HOWLIDAY INN, and BUNNICULA STRIKES BACK.

On to re-reading SHADOW QUEEN in preparation for SHALADOR'S LADY.

I have not. BUT I will see if I can find it.

I finished SHALADOR'S LADY. I don't know what I read immediately after but out of panic I bought the first book in Richelle Mead's YA series VAMPIRE ACADEMY. Holy shit! I didn't realize it would be as awesome as it was. So I then ran out and bought FROSTBITE. Also awesome. Since I also bought four other books at the same time I got FROSTBITE I didn't immediately buy the third book. Instead I read WHEN YOU ARE ENGULFED IN FLAMES by David Sedaris. Funny.

I am now beginning THE DEAD TRAVEL FAST by Deanna Raybourn. It's the second book I have read in the last year by that name. I have only read the first couple pages and I have never read anything by Ms. Raybourn but the cover claims that it is a vampire-ish novel based on and with ties to DRACULA. So my interest was piqued.
