His creation earned him a Pro MUD case, an internship with Doug Hudson on his next film project, and an award created by William J. Bivens of My Dementia.
Supplies used in the contest were provided by our fabulous sponsors Nightmare at Beaver Lake, Graftobain Makeup and Haunted Puget Sound.
“Dear Diary” by M.R. Mitchell and R.L. Reeves took the first prize in the annual writing contest! They also won an awesome award created by William J. Bivens.
“Murder Spring” by Clyde Wolfe got second place, followed by “The Ezekiel Strain” by Nicholas Lee Huff in third. Honorable Mentions were: “Awakening” by A. Maire Dinsmore, “There is No Escape” by Clyde Wolfe, and “Calendar Dwellers” by Natalie Wood.

There’s demons closing in on every side! The Seattle Thrillers performed the zombie dance from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video. Each year on Oct. 23, hundreds of zombies get together to break the world record for the largest simultaneous Thriller and raise money for charity. Want to join the fun? Only the bravest souls are able to say they experienced it and lived to tell their tale! Six rooms were given to VIP Fright Pass haunts who made each room a ghastly experience for all who entered.
Zombie commuters swarmed the Seattle light rail on the opening night of the convention. They even made the “ABC World News!”
