John Skipp & Cody Goodfellow

Bundy

Individually, they have wrecked untold millions of hours of healthy dreams and redefined literary horror at least a time and a half. Together, like a smoky, pathologically lying Voltron, they merge to become something much worse than the sum of their parts. Splatterpunk pioneer and godfather of the literary zombie apocalypse, John Skipp took extreme horror into the mainstream with NY Times bestsellers The Light At The End, The Scream and The Bridge (all co-written with Craig Spector). With his anthologies Book Of The Dead 1& 2 and Zombies: Encounters With The Hungry Dead, Skipp went from unwitting midwife to elder statesman of the walking dead, enabling a renaissance in zombie literature. His seminal Bizarro epic The Emerald Burrito Of Oz (with Mark Levinthal) is back in print from Eraserhead Press, and his solo novel The Long Last Call is currently in development as a feature film. Cody Goodfellow has written three novels (Radiant Dawn, Ravenous Dusk and Perfect Union), and a slew of short stories, most of which are collected in Silent Weapons For Quiet Wars and Mighty Unclean. As half of Perilous Press, he is publishing a new line of modern cosmic horror edited by renowned Lovecraft scholar S.T. Joshi, with new Mythos fiction by Michael Shea, Brian Stableford and Richard Lupoff in the works. Together, Skipp & Goodfellow have written two novels--Jake's Wake and the forthcoming Spore--and a novella, The Day Before. Their short joints have appeared in Hellboy: Oddest Jobs, Shivers V, The Living Dead 2 and Up Jumped The Devil, and the program for last year's Crypticon. They both live in Los Angeles.
